Hello, newcomer! Welcome to the UTAU community! Read this forum to help get you started.

What is UTAU?
UTAU is a voice synthesizing program that is free to use. It was made in 2008 with the default UTAUloid Utane Uta a.k.a Defeko. It gain popualrity in 2009 with the April Fool's Day release of Kasane Teto.

Where Can I Download It?
You can go to the site here and be sure to download v0.4.18e! Here is a tutorial on installing it.

What UTAUloid Should I Download First?
Well, that one is up to you! The most recommended UTAUloid for beginners is Kasane Teto. Download her here! Be sure to click on the orange picture to begin download! Before you do, be sure to make a Voicebank folder dedicated for all your voicebank download!
